PERMA-BOARD is a semi-rigid waterproof sheet with an asphalt core sandwiched within two layers of fibreglass reinforcement. It is manufactured with more waterproofing asphalt than other boards on the market as it’s designed to become an integral part of the roofing membrane, not just the base layer.  It is available with a smooth poly film surface finish or a sanded finish, making it easy to handle and work with. PERMA-BOARD is unaffected by moisture and will not rot, mould or mildew. It is produced in sheets measuring 40” x 80”.

USES - OVERLAY BOARD

PERMA-BOARD OVERLAY BOARD is designed to be used as a base material in flat or low slope roofing construction. It may be installed over wood, concrete, rigid insulation or as a recover sheet over an existing roof surface which is to be re-roofed. Elastomeric roofing membranes or built-up roofing may be heat welded or hot mopped directly to PERMA-BOARD creating a thick waterproofing layer. PERMA-BOARD may be used in place of fibreboard in low-slope roofing systems.

USES - PROTECTION BOARD

PERMA-BOARD PROTECTION BOARD is designed to be used as a protection barrier over membrane waterproofing or dampproofing to protect against damage from backfill, pavement overlays, concrete overlays or landscaping. May be applied to protect foundation walls, concrete slabs, bridge decks, or other structural units.
