ABOUT
No. 28 and No. 40 Fibreglass base sheets are manufactured from a uniform mat of non-woven glass fibres and coated with oxidized asphalt. Our Fibreglass base sheet provides excellent dimensional stability and is a superior component in multi-ply systems. This high quality sheet is made with a sanded surface on the bottom side and a thermofusible poly-film surface on the top side, for torch applications. Sand surfacing on both sides is available for mop/mop applications.
USES
As a base sheet in a built-up roofing system or an S.B.S. modified roofing system.
